Sony is said to announce three new Xperia series phone at IFA 2017, which is to take place starting September 1 and will continue till September 6 in Berlin. Reports claim that the upcoming three Xperia phones are going to be — Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Xperia X1. Sony is expected to announce all three phones at pre-IFA 2017 launch event on August 31.

A lot has been talked about these Xperia devices already. It is rumoured that out of the three, the first two, which are — Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact will be premium phones, while the third device will be a budget phone.

From the pricing point of view, the Sony Xperia XZ1 will be priced at 599 GBP which I roughly around Rs 49,265. On the other hand, the XZ1 Compact is said to come with a price tag of 499 GBP which is approximately Rs 41,041. The pricing details are tipped by tipster, Ronald Quandt on Wednesday.

Ahead of the official launch, all the three smartphones have been subjected to several leaks and rumours. Meanwhile, specs sheet of the Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact have leaked online. The listing reveals almost all the features that the phones are to come with.

In terms of specifications, the Sony Xperia XZ1 is said to come with a model number — G8341. It is expected to come with a 5.1-inch full HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The specs sheet further reveals that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 2.4GHz/1.9GHz octa-core processor with Adreno 540 GPU. On the camera front, the Sony phone is said to come with 19-megapixel autofocus camera at the back which is further said to be coupled with LED flash.

While on the front, the Xperia XZ1 is tipped to come along with a 13-megapixel camera on the front. The smartphone is further expected to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and run either on Android 7.1.1 Nougat or the newly released Android Oreo operating system.
