Payment process on Android phone or tablet can give you headache sometimes and Google knows this. The Mountain View-giant in May had given us a sneak peak into how paying with Google can speed up the online payment process and today it has officially launched the Pay with Google. The feature eases the process of payment on Android and Chrome browser.

“Back in May, we shared a sneak peek of how paying with Google would help you skip all that. And starting today you can now speed through online checkout on many of your favourite apps and websites with a few quick clicks,” Google announced in a blog post .

So how does the Pay with Google work? You can use any of the credit or debit cards that you’ve added to your Google Account from products like Google Play, YouTube, Chrome or Android Pay. You do not have to type any information as Google automatically fetches your payment-related information and sends it to the merchant.  The feature will fasten the checkouts process by only entering a security code or authentication code  to complete a purchase.

Google rolled out its Payment API at Google I/O in May stating that it would enable fast checkouts in apps and online payments. It also said that in coming few months it would also enable payments via Google Assistant where user can send or receive payments using only voice command. ” On your Google Home or Android device, it’s as simple as saying “Ok Google, send $10 to Jane for pizza.” All you need is a debit card linked to your Google account,” Google explains on its blog.>
