The OnePlus 5 is arguably one of the most hotly anticipated handsets of the year, giving Apple’s 10th anniversary iPhone 8 a run for its money in terms of hype and excitement. With just a few days left till the phone is officially unveiled on June 22, a fresh batch of information has cropped up online giving a glimpse into the price and specifications of the upcoming flagship killer.

The biggest leak of the OnePlus 5 yet gives us a look at the smartphone in all its glory with the horizontal dual camera setup at the rear, antenna lines on the bottom curving their way across the side much like the iPhone 7 and a fingerprint sensor up front.

The report by tecnoblog.net also gives us a look at the upcoming smartphone’s specifications. The leak claims that the OnePlus 5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor – the Snapdragon 835 paired with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage depending on the variant.

The smartphone is said to come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display with support for the CDI-P3 color space, a 3,000mAh battery with Dash Charge support,  and a ceramic coated fingerprint sensor underneath the display. The battery will allegedly be able to be charged from 0 to 92 percent in just one hour.

On the imaging front, the report claims that the OnePlus 5 will come with a 16MP and 20MP dual camera setup at the back with an aperture of f/1.7 and f/2.6 respectively. It also alleges that OnePlus will follow in the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ and equip the OnePlus 5 with Bluetooth 5.0.

The report also gives us an insight into the OnePlus 5’s expected price – it says that the smartphone will start at $479 which is $40 more than the OnePlus 3 and a whopping $80 more than the OnePlus 3T. It seems that the price of every subsequent OnePlus smartphone is reaching closer and closer to full flagship territory.

As with all rumours, these reports should be taken with a pinch of salt. The authenticity of these leaks and all previous ones will be proved in a few days time when the OnePlus 5 is officially launched.
