Lenovo recently announced the most awaited Motorola smartphones of the years, Moto G5 and G5 Plus in India. The global launch of both the smartphones where during MWC 2017, back in February. Well, after announcing the flagships of the year, Lenovo seems like doesn’t want to take a sign of relief. The company is probably working on announcing several other Motorola devices this year. Out of which the most rumoured ones are the Moto C and C Plus, which as per the latest reports are expected to launch very soon.
Motorola is apparently; at least as far as the rumours are trusted upon, is working on – Moto C, Moto C Plus, Moto E4, Moto E4 Plus, and the Moto Z2 Force. And, almost most of it is expected to launch in the upcoming months, along with the Moto C and C Plus.
Talking about the Moto C and C Plus, there have been a lot of speculations about both the smartphones in the latest times. Amidst all the rumorus, the devices are spotted again, and this time on another benchmarking website based out of Russia called EAC. Moto C and C Plus passed a certification test in Russia, reports reveal. With this coming to the limelight, speculations now are as such that the smartphones are expected to launch very soon in Russia and later can be up for global launch.
Today at India Today Tech, we will provide you a brief sketch or a rough picture about the smartphones. Well, everything should be taken with a pinch of salt, as Lenovo is yet to confirm the rumours as of yet.
Moto C on EAC, the Russian benchmarking website revealed that the smartphone will supposedly come with a model number – XT1750. Both the smartphones are tipped to be entry level devices and are expected to support 4G with VoLTE. The smartphone will come with a removable back cover.
If the rumours are to be believed, Moto C will be powered by a MediaTek MT6737m 64-bit quad-core processor. Furthermore, Moto C will come packed with a 16GB of inbuilt storage coupled with 1GB of RAM. Display wise, the smartphone will come with a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixel resolutions. Moto C is expected to be backed by a 2300mAh removable battery. On the optics front, the device is touted to come with 5-megapixel camera on the rear, whereas on the front fits a 2-megapixel selfie snapper.
Pricing wise, Moto C is expected to be a little less priced as compared to the C Plus. Reports further reveal that Moto C series smartphone will be a bit affordable when compared to the E series.
Moto C Plus
Quite similar to that of the low-end variant of the Moto C series – Moto C, the C Plus has been spotted with a model number XT1754. Both the smartphones are tipped to be entry level devices and are expected to support 4G with VoLTE. Even the Moto C Plus, like Moto C will come with a removable back cover, suggest leaks.
In terms of specifications, Moto C Plus will be the top end model among both the C series smartphone. This indicates that the smartphone will be much expensive than the Moto C. Furthermore, the device is expected to come with a slightly bigger screen with an HD display paired with either 1GB or 2GB of RAM. On the camera front, the upcoming Moto C Plus 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera.
The smartphone will be backed by a much bigger battery set up as compared to that of the Moto C. Moto C Plus will come with a 4000mAh battery and will further run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
