Lenovo today has launched its Phab 2 Plus in India. The phablet stands in competition against Xiaomi’s Mi Max phablet, the Phab 2 Plus was unveiled at Tech World Conference in San Francisco earlier this year.

The company had recently launched its first Tango-enabled Phab 2 Pro phone, however, the two phones are not related to each other despite the similar names. Let’s take a quick look at the latest Lenovo phablet’s specifications, top features and everything that you should know.


Processor: The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT8783 SoC paired with Mali T720 GPU.

RAM: The phone comes with 3GB of RAM.

Internal storage: The Phab 2 Plus packs in 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Screen: The phone has a massive 6.4-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1080p resolution.

Rear camera: The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus carries a dual-camera setup on the back with 13-megapixel cameras with f/2.0 aperture, laser and phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash.

Front camera: It comes with an 8-megapixel camera up front with f/2.2 aperture.

Software: The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s Vibe UI on top.

Battery: The Phab 2 Plus has a 4,050mAh battery, which, the company claims, can offer up to 23 hours of talktime and 17 days on standby.

— The dual-camera setup enables the device to do fancy Augmented Reality (AR) tricks that can be implemented post clicking a random shot.

— The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus carries a fingerprint scanner on the back.

— It also supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 sound technologies.

— The phone supports all 4G VoLTE
