Hot on the heels of the recently launched Lenovo K8 Note, Lenovo is set to unveil the K8 Plus in India tomorrow. The K8 Plus, which is expected to be a spiritual successor to the K6 Power, will come with a dual camera setup at the back and will run on a near stock version of Android.

A few days ago, it was revealed that the smartphone will be a Flipkart exclusive and will be launching on September 6. Now Lenovo India has shared a poster on Twitter which reveals a portion of the smartphone’s back. The poster carries the hashtag #KraveForMore with the words – 1 day to go.

The image reveals that the smartphone will come with a vertically mounted dual camera setup at the back alongside a dual-LED flash and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Also visible is the antenna band at the top and the volume rocker on the left edge of the smartphone.

While the smartphone is expected to be made out of metal, it is not confirmed whether it will be carved entirely out of metal like the K8 Note or will come with plastic elements on the top and bottom like the Moto G5 Plus.

Last month, the Lenovo K8 Plus was spotted on benchmarking website GeekBench. The listing revealed the smartphone running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with 3GB of RAM and the octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor clocked at 1.69 GHz.

A few weeks ago, Lenovo announced that starting with the K8 Note, all of its future smartphones will ship with a near stock version of Android out of the box. Lenovo’s old Vibe UI is now officially dead in the water. The company claims that the move to a common software platform will help them provide better support and efficient updates.

Lenovo recently launched the K8 Note in India which comes with a dual camera setup at the rear, a 5.5-inch fullHD display, a deca-core Mediatek Helio X23 processor and a 4,000mAh battery. The smartphone is available in two variants – one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage for Rs 12,999 and a higher-end variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Rs 13,999.
