Lenovo K8 Note, which was earlier only available via flash sales, is now set to go on open sale from 15th September on Amazon India. After a long barren period in India, Lenovo launched the K8 Note a few weeks ago at a starting price of Rs 12,999. The K8 Note aims to compete with phones such as the Nokia 5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and comes with an all-metal design, fairly powerful internals for the price and dual cameras.
The K8 Note is available in two variants – one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage for Rs 12,999 and a higher-end variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Rs 13,999. The smartphone is available in two colour variants – Venom Black and Fine Gold.
In order to entice buyers, Lenovo and Amazon are offering a few offers – customers will get an additional Rs 1,000 off on exchange of their old smartphones as well as a cash-back of Rs 1,000 on using a HSBC credit or debit card for the purchase.
The K8 Note is powered by the deca-core MediaTek Helio X23 processor paired with 3 or 4GB of RAM depending on the variant and a 4,000Mah battery with TurboCharge support. Additionally, it comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and 32/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card (of up to 128GB).
On the imaging front, the Lenovo K8 Note comes with a dual camera setup at the rear – a primary 13MP PureCel sensor alongside a secondary 5MP sensor, the addition of which allows the capture of images with depth of field effects. On the front, there is a 13MP sensor with a ‘Party Flash’.
As the K8 Note is a multimedia focused smartphone, it comes with support for Dolby ATMOS and Theatre MAX 2.0. It also has a dedicated Music Key on the right edge which can be used to control music playback, turn on the flashlight, open any third party application or take a screenshot.
