HTC’s upcoming flagship phone, the U11, has been leaked online courtesy renders (and a 360 degree video) that apparently show it off from every nook and corner. By the looks of it, the HTC U11 would be a mishmash of the company’s incumbent HTC U and HTC U Play, only curvier. While the renders may suggest a uniform edge-to-edge design, the HTC U11, would come with bezels. And, no headphone jack.

The HTC U11, that has leaked online, is seen in fiery red . It still seems as shiny – super glossy – as the HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play though. Button arrangement is typical HTC U Ultra/U Play. The phone is seen carrying a front-mounted home button that should double as a fingerprint scanner. The power button and the volume rocker are on the right, while the SIM card slot lies on the left.

The HTC U has already been subject to numerous leaks and rumours in the past and the company has itself taken to social media to tease what is expected to be the headline feature — Edge Sense — of the smartphone in question.

The HTC U will come with what’s said to be a touch sensitive outer frame that would react to specific actions allowing users to open an app or launch the camera app directly. Whether or not it would see a design change — from the incumbent U Ultra — is yet to be seen.

HTC’s new phone will reportedly come with a 5.5-inch Quad-HD screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4 gigs of RAM under the hood. It is said to come with at least 64GB of memory and a 3,0000mAh battery inside. On the camera front it is said to hone a 12-megapixel shooter. The U will also reportedly come sans a 3.5mm audio jack but water-resistance is said to be on the cards.
