After Airtel, now Aircel has launched a new recharge plan to fight against the Jio’s competitive plan worth Rs 399. The new Aircel Rs 348 prepaid pack offers unlimited calls and 84GB data for 84 days. The recharge is currently available only in eastern UP. The recharge pack is called as FRC348 by the company.
“FRC 348 is by far the best value proposition in the market as the offer is open for all customers with all types of handsets be it 2G, 3G or 4G. This pack is especially designed considering the customers’ need for accessing high volumes of data to seamlessly connect with their family members through video chatting, social networking or streaming videos as well as making voice calls without worrying about their balance,” said Rajiv Gupta, Circle Business Head, UP (East), Aircel.
Reliance Jio has triggered a price war in the telecom segment by offering cheap data and calls at competitive prices. The company recently also revamped all its existing plans above Rs 309 to gain traction. Airtel which is its biggest rival, in a move to take on Jio, has also rolled two new plans for its post-paid and prepaid users. The two plans cost Rs 293 and Rs 449 and offer unlimited 4G data for 84 days. However, Airtel has launched these offers primarily to increase its subscriber base as the offers are available only for new users. Airtel has also extended its holiday surprise offer for the next months under the name of Monsoon surprise offer. The company offers free 10GB 4G data every month to post-paid users under this plan.
Reliance Jio’s Rs 399 plan offers 84GB of 4G data for 84 days. Users will get 84 GB data for 84 days with FUP limit of 1GB data per day. Once the 4G data limit is exhausted, the internet speed reduces to 128kbps.
